More work on the Advanced Medium stuff. Need to make sure to keep him up in his outline. When he gets a bit long even though he's on the bit he looks on the forehand and boring. If keep the poll up then he looks pretty fab!
Some trot half pass - really pleased with this
Some work on the canter half pass - we now have more than enough neck bend, but need to make sure keep the bend through the body, don't let the quarters lead and make sure straighten the shoulders before asking for the change. Still struggling to get the right to left change on the diagonal without him jumping together behind.
Finished with running through AM85. My first time riding an Advanced Medium. Need to work on doing simple changes at C as not something I've asked of him before and need to do more work on counter canter so he doesn't always think change, plus cantering down centre line to halt needs practice, but generally very pleased with our first go.

And a first successful go at 4 time changes on the diagonal which he finds harder than the 3/4 line for some reason. Not our best and he is still needing an exaggerated change of bend to get the idea but really pleased with how hard he tries:
Looking towards August for our Advanced Medium debut - exciting times!
